Jessica Hsuan Denies Already Married

There are rumors about Jessica Hsuan marrying boyfriend Ruan Bester again. It's said boyfriend proposed to her on Valentine's Day and she bought an expensive house for marriage. Jessica Hsuan Confirms Long Working Hours

Joe Ma's wife complained about TVB artists are over-working. As for this, Joe's partner in "Flying Tigers" Jessica Hsuan agrees: "Actors don't sleep enough, it's been like that for many years. Is Joe Ma another TVB's biological child leaving their mother company?

Joe Ma and Jessica Hsuan were filming outdoor scenes for their new drama "Flying Tigers" (tentative name). Joe expressed he doesn't have much dramas left in TVB after he finished this one. His contract with TVB is ending this year and he said no one approached him yet to talk about renewing it.

"I don't know whether I'm renewing or not," he said. "I just hope I can have a bigger market. Better salary and more good dramas to film."

Jessica Hsuan Not Afraid to Have Rumors With Joe Ma

Jessica Hsuan Receives Bride's Bouquet at Wedding

TVB Anniversary Feature: Jessica Hsuan

Believe it or not, Jessica Hester Hsuan (宣萱) has been working for TVB for almost 20 years now.

Discovered by TVB in 1991, the actress rose to fame with her role as Samantha Ching in File of Justice IV (1995). Since then, she has become one of the "fa dans" (TVB A-list actress) in TVB. More of her well-known roles include Michelle in Cold Blood Warm Heart (1996), Siu Fong Fong in Old Time Buddy (1997), Ling Choi Fung in Square Pegs (2002), Ko Hei Man in Just Love (2005), and Carmen in Dicey Business (2006).

She can play different kinds of role: gambler, mad wife, tough woman, etc. She has 3 series out this year: A Pillowcase of Mystery II, Sisters of Pearl, and anniversary series Gun Metal Grey. In Gun Metal Grey, she collaborates with Michael Miu again as his love interest. Another tough woman role she plays, should be easy.

Will she win this year's TV Queen (TVB anniversary awards' Best Actress)? Well, she was 1999's TV Queen, winning the award with series Detective Investigation Files IV [first pic]. TVB Anniversary Series 'Gun Metal Grey' to Premier in November

Another anticipating TVB anniversary series "Gun Metal Grey" is to premier next week. The cast includes two of TVB's former "five tiger generals" Michael Miu and Felix Wong. The two have not collaborated for 24 years since "The Yang's Saga" This year is also their 30th year in the showbiz, so this series is quite memorable for the two.

"Gun Metal Grey" is different than regular police series. It tells how a justified police becomes a dangerous character who commits crime and challenges the law. Felix plays a legend icon in the police field Stone Sir. He was sentenced to jail 15 years ago and regained his position as a police later on. He would torture criminals in private and sees himself as the justified judge. Michael plays Felix's good friend who tries to stop Felix from becoming too extreme. He vows to stop Felix and maintain the current law enforcement system. Cases in the series take examples from Hong Kong's top ten criminal cases, and add in new elements and character relationships. The series re-created these cases and made the plot more intense.

Besides crime solving cases, the series also adds in a love triangle between Felix, Michael, and Jessica Hsuan. Playing a tough and strong magazine editor, Jessica admires Felix and sparks up with Michael. Jessica expresses she feels happy that she is able to work with Felix and Michael, leaving a perfect memory in her showbiz career.

Jessica Hsuan Relys on Stunt-double For Fire Scenes
